Swallow Falls, Tourist attraction in Betws-y-Coed, North Wales
Swallow Falls is one of the most idyllic and visited tourist attractions in North Wales. The falls are world famous for their beauty and are located close to the town of Betws-y-Coed within the Snowdonia National Park.
Swallow Falls forms part of the River Llugwy and lies to the west of the town of Betws-y-Coed just off the A5 London to Holyhead road, located between Betws and Capel Curig. The falls can be viewed via a platform accessed from the roadside and a small charge is payable.
The nearby Swallow Falls Hotel offers local serviced accommodation and is also the location of the Swallow Falls Campsite for the more adventurous. There is a local gift store offering a wide variety of gifts and momentos to take home.
The popular tourist town of Betws-y-Coed is located approximately one mile from Swallow Falls and offers a wide variety of countryside walks and accommodation.
