St David's Day
St David's Day, which is sometimes referred to as Saint David's Day, falls on the 1st March each year and is celebrated throughout Wales and by Welsh people worldwide in honour of Saint David, the patron saint of Wales.The daffodil, which is Wales national flower, is commonly worn on St David's Day.
There are numerous parades and events throughout Wales to celebrate St David's Day with the largest of these in Cardiff the Welsh capital city.

St David's Day Events
There will be a parade in Colwyn Bay on St David's Day through the town centre.Swansea will be hosting a week long celebration of St David.
Cardiff holds the largest St David's Day parade.
S4C will be holding numerous events in Llandudno in North Wales in honour of the day.
