River Llugwy, Snowdonia, North Wales
The River Llugwy runs down from the mountains of Snowdonia through Capel Curig to the town of Betws-y-Coed before joining with the River Conwy. Perhaps the most famous point on the river is Swallow Falls where the river plunges into a large pool. Around the outdoor centre of Capel Curig the river is very popular for water sports.
