River Dee, North Wales
The River Dee begins life high in the mountains of
Snowdonia above
Bala before journeying north through
Bala Lake towards the town of
Llangollen. The river forms a large part of the border between
England and
Wales as it turns northwards from
Llangollen and heads towards the coast. The river passes through the city of
Chester before exiting to the
Irish Sea at the
Wirral Peninsula.
