Holyhead, North Wales
Holyhead is the main ferry port for North Wales with daily ferry services to Ireland. The town is located on the west coast of Anglesey on Holy Island and can be reached by the main A55 dual-carriageway or the main North Wales Railline.
Stenna and Irish Ferries both operate daily services from the busy port and the town is rapidly expanding with new investment from well known retailers such as Tesco and Homebase.
The town has a noteable landmark in the form of Holyhead Mountain and walkers can reach the South Stack lighthouse station to enjoy spectacular views over the Irish Sea.
