AbersochAbersoch is a popular seaside resort situated on the southern coast of the Llyn Peninsula in North Wales, overlooking St Tudwal's Islands. Nestled between 2 headlands with the Snowdonia, Moelwyn and Rhingo Mountains behind, this village can cater for everyone and is an ideal location for touring the beautiful Llyn Peninsula and Snowdonia. It has grown to become one of the most important water sports centres for both sailing and surfing, with internationally recognised sailing waters. It is a popular race venue with many dinghy and small keelboat classes, and its annual regatta attracts sailing enthusiasts from all over Britain. There is a choice of accommodation ranging from the luxurious hotels to caravan and campsites. There are many shops, bars and restaurants in the village and fresh fish is readily available. Abersoch has two large sandy beaches, Porth Fawr and Porth Bach and a pretty harbour where fishing and seal trips are available; it also has an 18-hole golf course.
