Rhyl, North Wales
Rhyl is a large seaside town on the North Wales Coast. Once Rhyl attracted tens of thousands of annual visitors but in recent times has seen a change in fortunes and many of the attractions and hotels that once existed have since closed.
The town still boasts a number of attractions including the Rhyl Sunlife Centre which offers an activity based swimming centre, Rhyl Pavillion with regular shows and live music acts, and the Rhyl Sealife Centre.
The town centre offers a large number of shops within a pedestrianised area and includes an undercover shopping arcade as well.
Rhyl is close to the towns of Prestatyn, Towyn, and Abergele, and can be reached from the A55 dual carriageway in about 15 minutes from the St Asaph junction.
